Human Resources Assistant job duties:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the corporate benefits department
  • Process miscellaneous benefit carrier billings
  • Prepare benefit related materials as well as associated mailings and distributions
  • Process benefit enrollment and respond to benefit related questions
  • Various data reporting and auditing
  • Misc. scanning, filing, printing, data entry, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Understand and comply with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other industry-specific professional and ethical conduct standards, if applicable

Job Requirements

Human Resources Assistant Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a Human Resources department; 2-4 years’ focused benefit-related experience required
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience providing administrative support in a busy office environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel and ability to learn new computer programs and databases
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Must have a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work on several projects simultaneously while continuing to provide quality work
  • Must be able to meet deadlines
  • This position requires someone who is self-motivated, well-organized, task-oriented, professional and works well with in a fast-paced environment

Salary commensurate with experience.
